Project management

At DEIMA we offer project management services to our customers. This means that we take care of everything related to the prototyping process: from the first ideas until it is a working reality in the client’s industry. “Turnkey” we take responsibility for each and every phase of the project.

Conceptual design and detailed engineering

DEIMA’s engineering team has the necessary know-how to be able to design any type of machine based on real measurements and needs that may exist in any industry. The detailed engineering that we apply in DEIMA allows us to offer completely customized and tailor-made solutions, which are adjusted to the millimeter to the real needs of the customer.

Mechanical engineering and R+D+i

Once we have the conceptual design of the prototype, the phase in which our mechanical engineers come into play begins. They work side by side with our internal R+D+i department and thanks to the advances obtained by this department and the most advanced technology on the market, they are able to design the prototype to be built with great precision.

Electricity and automation

It goes without saying that the machinery and prototypes that we manufacture in DEIMA are equipment that work with electricity and that work with automatisms. For this reason, in our team we have professionals specialized in the field of electricity and automatisms.

Customized software

The automation and sophistication of many of the prototypes designed by DEIMA engineers require customized software. Thanks to this software the customer will be able to obtain from the prototype or machine exactly what he needs from it. From DEIMA we develop and program the software according to the specific needs of the customer.

In-house manufacturing

As we have already mentioned, at DEIMA we not only have an engineering department that is in charge of designing the prototypes, but we also carry out the construction of these prototypes internally. From start to finish we control the traceability of the projects.

Mounting

The manufacturing of the machine prototype at DEIMA’s facilities is not the end of our work. Often, they are very large or very complex machines and they have to be assembled at the customer’s premises. We take care of the assembly at the customer’s site and leave everything ready for the machine to be put into operation.

Adjustments and start-up

When the prototypes or machinery designed and manufactured at DEIMA arrives at the facilities of the industry that needs it, the pertinent adjustments must be made in order to start it up and ensure that it works optimally.

Certified calibrations

Some types of machinery need to be calibrated before they can be used on production lines. In some cases, these calibrations are subject to certain certifications and DEIMA can take care of calibrating the equipment to obtain these certificates.
