Assembly and test lines

Optimize your plant’s production rate without losing any quality with our assembly and test lines.

Assembly lines are common in any type of industry that needs to offer a certain degree of productivity, since it is precisely thanks to these lines that it can be guaranteed that no time is lost between one phase of the production or assembly process and another. In fact, assembly lines are an organized sequence of workstations through which a product passes automatically to the next station.

At DEIMA we have a team of engineers specialized in the design of customized assembly lines that can be adjusted with total precision to the customer’s needs. We can design the assembly line you need to manufacture your product efficiently and in an optimal time.

How do the assembly and test lines work?

Assembly lines are a set of stations that are strategically and logically arranged according to the manufacturing process of a product. Depending on the specific manufacturing requirements, a specific task is performed at each station.

At one station of the assembly line a part can be assembled, at the next station bolts are applied and so on until the end of the sequence with the completely manufactured part.

At DEIMA we design complex assembly lines, some of which even incorporate robots or automatic machines that allow components to be assembled accurately and quickly. They are also characterized by being flexible assembly lines, allowing adaptations to produce different products or different versions of the same product.

The importance of testing at the end of assembly lines

In any assembly line, the product moves in a linear fashion through the various stations that make up the line. At each of these stations, the corresponding tasks are performed until the product reaches the final station.

It is precisely at this final station that the product is tested to ensure that it is in optimum condition. This quality analysis or final test is carried out by means of diagnostic systems that are already integrated in the assembly line.

Using cameras, measuring instruments and sensors, among others, several tests are performed automatically to ensure that the product is in good condition. If a product does not pass the test, it is set aside to be checked and if it passes, the process continues.
